JSP organises awareness meet in Nellore on drug abuse

Nellore: Leaders of Jana Sena city unit conducted an awareness programme on ill-effects of drugs near Gandhi Statue Centre in the city on Saturday. Party's city in-charge Kethamreddy Vinod Reddy appealed to the parents and managements of colleges to eradicate drug menace among students.
Speaking to the media, Vinod Reddy said that managements of the colleges have to provide quality education with values. Students are becoming addicts to drugs due to pressure in studies, he said. He further said that managements of the colleges have to organise awareness sessions on the ill-effects of drugs.
Parents also have to keep an eye on the activities of their children. Youngsters who have addicted to drugs are also committing offences, Jana Sena leader added. Local leaders K Murali, Chandrasekhar and others were present.
