Kadapa: Deputy Chief Minister Amzath Basha has said that the Chief Minister is keen to sanction Rs 5 crore for extension of CP Brown Library.
Participating as chief guest in Golden Jubilee celebrations of CP Brown Research Centre and Library here on Sunday, he said in view of bringing Telugu literature to the scholars and researchers, the Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has immediately accepted the proposal for sanctioning funds.
Kamalapuram MLA P Ravindranath Reddy said former chief minister Y S Rajasekhar Reddy was responsible for bringing CP Brown Library and brought it under the purview of Yogi Vemana University (YVU).
YVU VC Surya Kalavathi said that several books and Tallapatra Grandhams were degitalised for future generations. Srikrishna Devaraya University VC Acharya Ramakrishna Reddy and others were present.
