Vijayawada: Krishna District Collector Md Imtiaz said that the procurement of Kharif crop for the year 2018-19 will end by March 15.
In a release on Monday, the Collector said that as per the instruction of the state government, the purchase of the Kharif crop will continue till March 15 and all the farmers are hereby informed to sell their crop at the procurement centres across the district.
He further said that 8.56 tonnes of crop was procured at 270 procurement centres from 84,855 farmers across the district till March 7.
He further said that the target of the Kharif crop in the district was 9.48 lakh tonnes.
