Education Minister Dr Adimulapu Suresh ordered the Pula Subbaiah Veligonda Project officers to increase the pace in the works so that they could complete the construction of the project on time.
Markapuram: Education Minister Dr Adimulapu Suresh ordered the Pula Subbaiah Veligonda Project officers to increase the pace in the works so that they could complete the construction of the project on time. He along with the Markapuram MLA Kunduru Nagarjuna Reddy inspected the head regulatory works of the Veligonda project at the Kollam Vagu in the backwaters of the Srisailam project on Tuesday.
In the interaction with the project officials, the Minister inquired about the status of the tunnels, head regulator and feeder channel works. He said that they have scheduled to provide water for drinking and irrigation needs of the public in the western area of the district, through the first tunnel by June end. He ordered the officials to complete the project works on war footing.
