The Vijayawada branch of Southern India Regional Council (SIRC) of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), in association with AP Real Estate Regularly Authority (RERA) organised a one-day programme on Income Tax Act and GST Act here on Thursday.
Vijayawada: The Vijayawada branch of Southern India Regional Council (SIRC) of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), in association with AP Real Estate Regularly Authority (RERA) organised a one-day programme on Income Tax Act and GST Act here on Thursday.
The chief guest of the programme was district Collector Md Imtiaz. Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that these programmes would be useful to the builders and construction businessman on the changes and amendments in the RERA Law.
RERA member Chandu Sambasiva Rao spoke at length on RERA and explained the new changes and amendments in the RERA Law. He further said that to avail Input Tax for the ongoing projects they should register with the GST authority before May 10.
ICAI chairperson Y Nagavalli said that the information and the clarifications on RERA, GST and Income Tax pertaining to construction and builders would be useful. Secretary K Poornachandra Rao, Dr CA Phalguna Kumar, CA Harshavardhan and others were present on the occasion.
