Amaravati: Nagari MLA Roja who came to attend a programme at SRM University here in Amaravati had to fave the heat of the protestors on Thursday.
The protestors demanded Roja to come out of the university to hear their woes. However, the MLA left the university from another gate in a car under police protection.
The protesters demanded talks with the MLA.
They said that abrupt departure of the MLA proved that the government's decision to shift secretariat from Amaravati is not right.
