Going into detail, Dasari Anjaneyulu and his wife Maniamma of Neelipalli village in Nandalur Mandal are living in Kuwait for a long time. They have four daughters and twin sons Sai Kiran and Sai Karan.

The four daughters were married, and sons remained at home. In this context, Maniamma wanted to bring her son Sai Kiran to Kuwait and flew to India on Sunday night.

She reached Chennai airport at midnight. In order to pick up his mother, Sai Kiran hired a car and went to the airport. After receiving Maniamma, they left to the village in the early hours on Monday.

The police said that the driver felt drowsy when they reached Reddipalli Cheruvu. At 6:30 am, the car driver didn't notice the cargo lorry on the opposite side and collided with the speeding truck.

With the impact of the crash, the airbags in the car opened up but couldn't save the lives as they also smashed off. In the incident, Maniamma (48), Sai Kiran (19), and driver Pawan Kalyan (24) were seriously injured and died on the spot.

Over learning about the tragedy, the deceased family members expressed deep shock and reached the accident spot. The lorry driver flew away from the scene immediately after the accident.

On receiving the information, the police reached the spot, and with great difficulty removed the bodies from the car. Railway Koduru CI Ananda Rao inspected the accident site. The bodies were shifted to the Rajampata government hospital for post-mortem. On the incident, the police registered a case and investigating.
