Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu expressed apprehensions that the Jodi (gang) of Modi, KCR and YS Jaganmohan Reddy would come up with new plans to create problems for TDP.

Naidu made this comment during his meeting with party activists in Kurnool on Tuesday. Subsequently, two MLAs have told the party high command that they were being threatened by some people from Hyderabad that they will have to forget about their property if they do not withdraw from the contest.
According to party sources, one MLA candidate from Krishna district and another from Srisailam constituency are among those who received the threat calls.
In fact this was the main reason for the Srisailam candidate Budda Rajasekhar to announce that he was retiring form politics. Krishna district TDP candidate refused to resign from TDP and said that he would contest the election. He also said that he would take recourse to legal action if any attempt was made to grab his land worth Rs 250 crore on the outskirts of Hyderabad was made.
Rajasekhar Reddy after meeting the Chief Minister is said to be reconsidering his decision and is likely to take U-turn and contest from Srisailam Assembly constituency. The TDP leaders here condemned this kind of "dirty" politics and called upon the people to understand the real colours of YSRCP and teach them a lesson on the day of polling.
According to TDP sources, party's national president Chandrababu Naidu told the MLAs that the party would stand by them and would give them all necessary legal support if the TRS and YSRCP together resort to any such misadventure.
