Vijayawada: The National Cadet Corps 4 Andhra Girls Battalion of PB Siddhartha Arts and Science College here on Wednesday organised Defence Expo on the college premises, according to principal Dr Meka Ramesh.
The expo, where the models of main battle tanks of Arjuna and Bhishma and other armoury were exhibited, was intended to encourage youth to join the Defence forces, said NCC unit Lieutenant Rohini Kusuma.
The NCC cadets presented the training modules of the Defence forces to the visitors. The expo also showcased the adventurous activities like trekking, cycling, parasailing and others.
College director Vemuri Babu Rao, placement officer Sridhar, physical director Srinivasa Rao, senior under officer Udaya, junior under officers Indu, Navya and Mrunalini also participated.
