Speaking on the speculations around the YSRCP alliance with BJP, Purandeswari ruled out the rumours stating that the BJP has no alliance with any party in the state. "We will not have ties with either TDP or YSRCP; we have an understanding with Jana Sena, " Purandeswari said.

She alleged YSRCP of spreading false propaganda on the alliance against the BJP to defame the party in the state. Meanwhile, the former union minister has also took a dig at Chandrababu as well. She accused Naidu of double standards in the dissolution of council affairs and said that the latter is only concerned about the lands in Amaravati. Hence he is demanding the capital in Amaravati.

However, she denied to comment on the IT raids in the houses and offices of TDP associates.
