Police filed a case against trainee IPS officer for forcing his wife for divorce
A young woman named Bhavana complained to the police that Mahesh Reddy, a trainee IPS officer who had cheated on her on the pretext of marriage.
A young woman named Bhavana complained to the police that Mahesh Reddy, a trainee IPS officer who had cheated on her on the pretext of marriage. According to the complaint, trainee IPS officer Mahesh Reddy who hails from Kadapa district is said to be married Bhavana year ago.
However, with getting a job in police services, Mahesh is reportedly trying to get away from her. She said that she got acquainted with Mahesh at Osmania University, which eventually led her to fall in love with Mahesh. Both are reportedly married.
In her complaint, she said she was married and had been staying close to one year. She added that Mahesh had changed a lot since he was selected as an IPS and is trying for a second marriage in quest of dowry.
Bhavana alleged that police are protecting his family and demanded justice for her. Jawaharnagar police have received a complaint and registered a case of dowry harassment under sections 498 A (Harassment), 323 and 506 (criminal intimidation) and SC & ST Atrocity case.
