Rajamahendravaram: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader Adireddy Vasu has requested Municipal Commissioner Abhishikt Kishore to remove the existing dumping yard as it has became a health hazard to thousands of people residing in the 41st,42nd, 45th and 46th divisions in the city for the last many years.
He also told the Municipal Commissioner that many people of the divisions were facing a number of health problems because of the smoke and foul smell emitting from the dumping yard. It is the duty of the municipal corporation to safeguard the health of the residents, he said and asked him to act immediately in this regard.
Former corporators K Rama Krishna, B Raj Kumar, K Ramana TDP leader M Venkat Raju and others were also present on the occasion.
