Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy directed the officials to publish information on sand every week in the district level newspapers to create awareness among people.
Amaravati: Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy directed the officials to publish information on sand every week in the district level newspapers to create awareness among people. He held a review on Spandana and sand availability in the state at the Secretariat on Tuesday.
The Chief Minister said that by December 10, GPS would be mandatory for every vehicle used for sand transport. He directed the officials to set up Night Vision CCTV cameras at 439 check-posts by December 10 to prevent sand smuggling.
He asked the district SPs to focus on the prevention of smuggling of alcohol from border states. He instructed the officials that a phone call should be able to tackle the criminals. Jagan instructed the officials to complete distribution of cheques to all eligible Agri Gold victims.
Minister for geology and mines Peddireddy Ramchandra Reddy, Chief Secretary Nilam Sawhney, DGP D Goutam Sawang and other officials participated in the video conference. The Chief Minister sought details from the officials on the training classes that were being conducted to deliver a qualitative resolution of complaints filed under Spandana (grievances programme). The final orientation phase of the classes is on December 4 at Anantapur and Kurnool districts.
Jagan made district collectors and SPs to take a pledge on the occasion of the National Constitution Day. He reviewed about the eligible beneficiaries for different schemes and instructed the officials to display the details at village secretariats between December 15 and 18 and said that by December 20, details of all the schemes and beneficiaries should be on display.
He instructed the officials to take the help of the existing 52 centres for SADAREM (Software for Assessment of Disabled for Access Rehabilitation and Empowerment) certification, and issue certificates twice in every week.
This will be effective from December 3, the World Disabled Day. He also said that from December 15, SADAREM camps should be conducted once in every week in community health centres.
He also said that about 45.82 lakh farmers across the state had been paid amount under the YSR Rythu Bharosa scheme and directed the officials to pay to another 2.14 lakh farmers within a week. Starting from December 1, financial assistance of Rs 225 per day or Rs 5,000 a month will be provided to patients who underwent surgeries under YSR Arogyasri.
The Chief Minister instructed the officials to credit the money directly into patients' accounts within 48 hours of discharge from the hospital. This is applicable for 836 types of surgeries in 26 separate departments and the estimated cost is around Rs 268.13 crore.
He also asked the collectors to prepare a list of beneficiaries of Netanna Hastham by March 1. The scheme, which will be implemented from December 21, provides for payment of Rs 24,000 financial assistance to every family per year.
He also reminded the deadline of Ugadi for distribution of house sites to every eligible poor family in the state. He said from January 1, outsourcing employees will receive the salaries through outsourcing corporation.
