Visakhapatnam: Transport Commissioner P S R Anjaneyulu said that vehicle inspection should be intensified.
Addressing Deputy Transport Commissioners and Motor Vehicle Inspectors of North Andhra districts at a review meeting held at the RTA office here on Monday, he said that focus should laid more on drunk and drive, Overspeed and overload of vehicles along with other violations wherein stringent action be initiated against the erring commuters.
The Commissioner urged the employees to meet their set targets also.
The event was attended by DTCs, MV inspectors and Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspectors from Visakhapatnam, Srikakulam and Vizianagaram districts.
