Submit DPRs for 15,192 sanctioned, houses officials told Collector
West Godavari District Collector R Muthyala Raju has directed the officials to send detailed project reports for as many as 15,192 urban houses sanctioned under Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana- YSR scheme immediately.
Eluru: West Godavari District Collector R Muthyala Raju has directed the officials to send detailed project reports for as many as 15,192 urban houses sanctioned under Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana- YSR scheme immediately.
He presided over a meeting of the town-level committee for PMAY-YSR houses under the jurisdiction of Eluru Urban Development authority held here on Thursday.
In his address, the Collector informed that that they had cleared the DPRs for sanction of 15,192 houses and it was resolved to send them to get the approval of the AP Township and Infrastructure Development Corporation (APTIDCO) managing director.
Clearances would be given after scrutiny with regard to 34,879 houses sanctioned by the Centre under PMAY-YSR Urban for the year 2018-19. Out of which 14,576 houses were tagged. Proposals have been received for sanction of 876 houses in Undi, 859 in Chintalapudi, 128 in Gopalapuram sub-division from team of mandal-level officials. The meeting has approved the proposals, the Collector informed.
He further informed that the Centre had set a target of 16,800 houses every month for submitting DPRs under PMAY-YSR Urban from October to December in the district. While the unit cost is Rs 2.5 lakh, the beneficiary or bank loan accounts for Rs 50,000, Union government subsidy Rs 1.5 lakh and contribution of the state government (subsidy) Rs 50,000, he added.
