Sun City Colony residents meet MLA Malladi Vishnu over amenities in Vijayawada
Representatives of Sun City Colony Welfare Association submitted a representation to Central MLA Malladi Vishnu on Tuesday requesting the latter to provide basic amenities in the newly formed Sun City Colony, which is located near Nandamuri Nagar.
Vijayawada: Representatives of Sun City Colony Welfare Association submitted a representation to Central MLA Malladi Vishnu on Tuesday requesting the latter to provide basic amenities in the newly formed Sun City Colony, which is located near Nandamuri Nagar.
The colony has no basic amenities like roads, side drains, electrical poles and street lighting. The association president, Vedantam Srinivas, secretary Dr Srinivas, treasurer Yochita, members Rangavali and S Naidu and others met the MLA and narrated their problems.
Responding to the requests, MLA Vishnu said that he would visit the colony very soon along with the municipal corporation officials and help to get infrastructure facilities. During rainy season, the colony residents faced many hardships due to bad condition of roads.
