Nellore: Former minister Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy said they won't tolerate attacks anymore by the ruling party leaders and expressed dissatisfaction over the attitude of the police personnel who were keeping silent on such developments in the district.

He, along with MLC B Ravichandra, visited a party-worker in Kavali on Tuesday and said it was brutal act attacking when the people were sitting in the party office. He said the ruling party people were resorting to attacks for the last five months and still there has been no action against the accused and now they had targeted the party office in Kavali.

He lamented that the district which was noted for peace and tranquillity, has now become a den for anti-social activities where law and order totally collapsed. He asked what the police personnel was doing when ruling party activists have been targeting the TDP leaders attacking physically and damaging their properties.

Somireddy said that the people of district gave the YSRCP 10 seats for better ruling, and they are now booking false cases and were resorting to assaults due to political vendetta.

He said they were attacking the opposition leaders and have been lodging complaints with the police for action. He said even atrocity cases were also being booked against the TDP activists.
