Anakapalli: IT and industries minister Gudivada Amarnath inspected the ready-to-occupy TIDCO houses in Anakapalli constituency on Thursday.

After paying a visit to the houses, Amarnath said required infrastructure has been provided in the colony and beneficiaries can occupy the houses anytime.

As part of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s birthday celebrations, a housewarming programme would be organised on December 21, the IT minister informed. He said that the Chief Minister fulfilled the dream of the poor to own a house

Officials said the houses built in Satyanarayanapuram Jagananna Colony have been constructed following quality standards.

Roads were laid for residents, a sewage treatment plant and streetlights have been installed to make the colony equipped with infrastructure, the officials informed.

The houses were built in three blocks in this colony. 2,296 Houses of 300 sqft will be given to the beneficiaries free of cost. 96 beneficiaries of 365 sq ft and 352 beneficiaries of 430 sqft would be handed over to the beneficiaries.
