Thirumala Swamivari's Brahmotsavam started on Sunday in a special ceremony. Ankurparpana is a function of Swamivar's general, Vishwakasenu, who oversees the Brahmotsava arrangements. The advent of Vaikansa is scientifically organized to celebrate this event. On the eve commencement of Brahmotsavalu, Vishwakasenu observed the procession in the temple streets. TTD Chairman YV Subbareddy and officials were present.

CM YS Jagan will present silk garments on Monday for the Thirumala on the occasion of Brahmotsvam. Later CM will be offering prayers to Srivaaru. Earlier it was YS Rajasekhar Reddy who gave silk garments to Srivaru when he was chief minister, and now it is Jagan Mohan Reddy, which is one thing to cheer up for YSR family as both father and son offered silk garments to Tirumala. Meanwhile, Mathrushree Vakuladevi guest house constructed at Thirumala with Rs 42.86 crore will be inaugurated by Jagan on Monday.
