Two brothers drowned to death in a pond at Gudivada in Krishna district

In a horrific incident, two brothers reported dead while having swimming at a pond along. Going into details, a group of friends has gone to swimming along with two brothers. While the elder brother slipped into the water, the younger one te ed to save and unfortunately both drowned to death in the pond. The incident took place in Gudivada, Krishna district on Sunday.
A couple of Kolusu Narendra and Radha from Mandapadu in Gudivada town has two sons Harsha Vardhan (20) and Prem Kumar (18). Harshavardhan is studying final year B.Tech, while Prem Kumar is practising the second year of Polytechnic. On Sunday, however, they went down with their friends to the photos near the Pumps Pond in Peddaerukapadu. Harshavardhan accidentally plunged into the water as the pond was sloping.
His brother Prem Kumar jumped into the pond to save the elder brother. The two were drowned when they were unable to swim. Five friends on the pond are also tried to save them but failed. Both of them lost their lives. Upon receiving the information, firefighters jumped into the pond and pulled out the bodies. With the deaths of the sons, the parents mourned. As many as nine people have died in the pond so far.
