Two died, six injured in road accident in Visakhapatnam district
Over speed has claimed two lives. In the accident, construction labor and another woman who was going to the relative's house has died on the spot, and the other six sustained injures in auto and bike collision on Narsipatnam-Tuni R&B road.
Nathavaram: Over speed has claimed two lives. In the accident, construction labor and another woman who was going to the relative's house has died on the spot, and the other six sustained injures in auto and bike collision on Narsipatnam-Tuni R&B road.
Going into details, G Durga Prasad and P Satish of Gunupudi village are working as construction labors, and they were going to Narsipatnam on the bike. While they were on the way, their bike collided with an auto near M Bennavaram village.
With the impact of the collision, Durga Prasad (23) died on the spot, and Satish sustained injuries. Another woman D Varalakshmi (45), who was traveling in the auto, fell down on the road and died with serious injuries. At the time of the accident, there were five people in the auto along with the driver. The injured were rushed to Narsipatnam government hospital in 108 ambulance.
According to the eye witness information overspeed of the two vehicles is the main reason for the accident. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and shifted the bodies to Narsipatnam area hospital for post-mortem. Nathavaram SI J Ramesh inspected the accident site, registered a case and investigating further.
