Two drown in borewell, one rescued in Nellore
Two children drowned in an unused borewell in Peddapalem in Vidavalur mandal on Monday and a boy named Goparaju has been rescued by the officials and efforts are going on to rescue a girl, Mokshitha.
Nellore : Two children drowned in an unused borewell in Peddapalem in Vidavalur mandal on Monday and a boy named Goparaju has been rescued by the officials and efforts are going on to rescue a girl, Mokshitha. They are playing in the place and accidentally fell in the well.
Since it is sandy lands officials managed to dig 10-12 feet and rescued the boy. There has been no difficulty for excavation since they are coastal areas. Local legislator N Prasanna Kumar Reddy and other senior officials are monitoring the rescue operations.
Condition of the boy is said to be out of danger and has been shifted to local hospital for treatment. The borewell was dug four days ago and the children who were playing at the place drowned in it at around 4 pm on Monday. Officials are saying it takes around 1-2 hours for reaching the girl.
