Urban SP opens water tank in Tirupati
As part of police social responsibility, Urban police have constructed a water tank at Mungilipattu village in Chandragiri mandal.
Tirupati: As part of police social responsibility, Urban police have constructed a water tank at Mungilipattu village in Chandragiri mandal.
Tirupati Urban SP KKN Anburajan has inaugurated the water tank on Friday. When SP visited the village prior to the elections, the villagers brought the water scarcity issue to SP's notice.
Anburajan had assured villagers of constructing a water tank once the elections are completed. As promised, the SP sanctioned funds from the police welfare fund for the construction of water tank. Addressing the villagers, Anburajan said that construction of water tank was constructed as part of friendly policing. He called upon the villagers to cooperate with police in maintaining law and order. DSP Vinod and other police officials were present.
