Vijayawada: Amaravati Joint Action Committee (JAC) Chairman Bopparaju Venkateswarlu has thanked the Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy for launching Andhra Pradesh Corporation for the Outsourced Services (APCOROS) as part of fulfilling the election promise.

In a press release on Friday, Bopparaju said the creation of Corporation for the outsourcing services was a historic decision and hailed giving employment letters to 47,000 outsourced employees.

He felt it will give them a trust and a sense of security to their jobs. He said it is a good sign that the government has recognised the services of skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled staff and ensuring EPF and ESI cards to the employees.

He praised the Chief Minister saying that the latter had introduced new system without involving middlemen and requested Jagan to sanction DA to the outsourced employees on par with the regular employees and also sanction general leaves, medical, medical facilities as they are also working similar to that of regular employees.

Bopparaju also urged the Chief Minister to see that they get increment or salary hike once in a year because they are working overtime compared to the regular employees.

He felt transparency would be maintained in recruit of jobs in the state with the setting up Corporation for the outsourcing services in the state.
