Yalamanchi Diabetes Centre receives ISO certification in Vijayawada
Yalamanchi Diabetes Specialty Centre head Dr Yalamachi Sadasiva Rao said that Yalamanchi Diabetes Specialty Centre received the ISO 9001 certification which is first in the state.
Vijayawada: Yalamanchi Diabetes Specialty Centre head Dr Yalamachi Sadasiva Rao said that Yalamanchi Diabetes Specialty Centre received the ISO 9001 certification which is first in the state. They received the certification for rendering the best service in diabetes.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Sadasiva Rao said for the past 30 years, they have been serving the coastal Andhra people with advanced diabetic treatment with international standards.
He said that there are 7.29 crore people suffering from diabetes in the country and 50 percent people are not aware that they are suffering from diabetes which is a concern.
With proper lifestyle, exercise, good food habits one can be protected from diabetes, said the doctor and added that one should have awareness on diabetes. He said to mark the World Diabetes Day, they have been organising various programmes to create awareness on how to prevent diabetes and organised free tests to students. Dr Himana, Dr Rajendra Prasad and others were present on the occasion.
