YSRCP leaders files case against Speaker Kodela
To the incident that happened at Inimetla village, a case has been filed against TDP leader and Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao.
Guntur: To the incident that happened at Inimetla village, a case has been filed against TDP leader and Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao. The case has been filed at Rajupalem police station in Guntur district.
The YSR Congress party leaders have registered the complaint that Speaker Kodela has committed for booth capturing on the polling day.
With the complaint, the police have booked Kodela as 7 accused in the case. An FIR has been registered on Kodela and other 22 TDP leaders.
On the polling day, Speaker Kodela Sivaprasad Rao and his followers have involved in the attack on the polling booth at Inimetla village under Sattenapalle Assembly constituency in Guntur district, with this the YSRCP leaders demanded to file a case immediately on Speaker.
The leaders alleged that TDP has made a false case as Kodela has been attacked in Inimetla village. On 11 April, the news on Kodela attack has created high tension in the district. Where the TDP leaders alleged that Kodela Sivaprasad has been injured in YSRCP activists attack.
But the YSRCP leaders said that Kodela, himself went inside and closed the doors. However, the police team has conducted searches at Inimetla and took the suspects into custody.
