CII conducts investors' meet for MSMEs
The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) organised an investors’ meet for MSMEs here on Thursday to encourage micro and small-scale entrepreneurs.
Vijayawada: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) organised an investors' meet for MSMEs here on Thursday to encourage micro and small-scale entrepreneurs.
Addressing the inaugural session, K Pranay Siddharth, Associate Director, Andhra Pradesh Innovation Society, said that the presentation made by the entrepreneurs would determine the strength of their business activity.
He said that the entrepreneur should not have emotions on the proposal and need to assess the strength of the proposal base on rational grounds.
Sanjay Jain, General Manager, Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), in his address highlighted the initiatives of SIDBI for micro and small entrepreneurs.
He said that MSMEs contribute significantly to the growth of the economy. He felt that the modernisation and expansion of small enterprises are essential for the growth of the economy.
In this regard SIDBI can lend finance for the MSMEs, he said.
