A R Rahman music for Prabhas film?

#Prabhas20 is a project which is yet unknown. The 40-year-old actor, who had a hit of sorts with 'Saaho' last year has not shared much details about his next, which is still under wraps, by and large.

News has however emerged that A R Rahman may be the music director who will be engaged for this future venture. There were reports in Tamil media, with picture of the actor sitting alongside the Mozart of Madras. Rahman, however, has not affirmed the offer.

Unlike Ilaiyarajaa, who ruled the southern film industries in the 1980s, A R Rahman preferred to be confined to Tamil cinema initially and subsequently took up select assignments in Hindi. His Telugu releases were just three, including one of Mahesh Babu between the mid-1990s to 2010. Most of the songs were hits in its dubbed version from Tamil. Will he take up the Prabhas film this time, one needs to wait and watch.
