We already know that the filmmakers have already planned the Telugu remake of Asuran which has been titled Naarappa starring Venkatesh. The first look was released long back and came in for mixed response from the public.
Now, we hear that the highly successful Kollywood movie (Asuran) is all set to be remade in Sandalwood too. Yes, a Kannada filmmaker who has grabbed Asuran Kannnada remake rights is believed to have started work on it.
If a buzz doing the rounds is any indication, then Hattrick hero Shivarajkumar aka Shivanna has been approached to reprise the role of Dhanush in Asuran Kannada remake. It is learned that the century star has heard the script and seems to be satisfied with it. However, he is yet to give an official nod to working in the movie.
