Sara and Varun to star in this 90s film remake

New star kid in B-Town, Sara Ali Khan has already impressed with her act in films like Kedarnath and Simmba. She also won the Filmfare award as best debut actress for the film Kedarnath. Currently, she is acting alongside Karthik Aryan in Love Aaj Kal 2, which is being directed by Imtiaz Ali.
Now, she got roped into yet another crazy project. If the latest buzz is anything to go by, she will be paired up with Varun Dhawan in the upcoming remake of Coolie. No:1. David Dhawan, who helmed the original, will also direct this film. The original had Govinda and Karishma Kapoor in the lead roles.
Farhad Samji, of the writer duo Sajid-Farhad, has shared the news by saying, "David Ji had been looking for the perfect script for a while. We discussed many ideas even though Coolie No. 1 was always on our mind. We finally zeroed in on it because the lead character has a certain innocence even when he is conning others and that's something today's audience hasn't seen in a while". The film is expected to go on floors in August.
