The actor Nani dropped the trailer on his official social media profile. He captioned it, "April 19th will be very very special! #JERSEYTrailer @gowtam19 @ShraddhaSrinath @anirudhofficial @vamsi84"
Nani plays Arjun, a heart-broken cricketer, whose cricketing career failed to take off during his younger days.
But the former sportsman is confident but in need of little inspiration, which comes in form of trouble with marriage and mere surviving.
The film traces Arjun's journey and his relationship with his son, who inspires him to return to the game.
The film is written and directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri (Malli Raava). The lovely and stunning Shraddha Srinath plays Sarah, Arjun's wife.
Nani's recent appearances were in Krishnarjuna Yuddham (2018) and Devadas (2018).
The film is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments. This 19th April, Arjun will emerge victorious.
