Delhi Public School Alumni Meet held
Hyderabad: The campus of Delhi Public School Nacharam was quite abuzz recently with the Grand VII Alumni Meet celebrations. The event started with a soulful prayer and the lighting of the lamp. There was very good response with 350 alumni both from Grade 10 Batch from 2008 and Grade 12 Batch from 2013 till date.
DPS Nacharam Principal Sunitha Rao warmly welcomed the distinguished guests and interacted with alumni members. Her carefully thought out words reinforced the necessity of registering in alumni portal of DPS Nacharam.
The DPS alumni portal was launched and 350 plus students readily registered on the spot. A nine- member alumni committee was formed. A video was played depicting the genesis of the school in its earlier years and the pinnacle of success that it had reached in 2019.
The DPS Nacharam flyer with highlights of the school was inaugurated by the Chairman M Komariah. Addressing the alumni, he motivated the alumni to expand the group and strengthen its activities each year. In response, alumni members shared their success stories. The event was concluded by a vote of thanks by Yash Agarwal, President of Alumni committee and alumnus of first batch of grade 12. The meet came to an end with a short entertainment program followed by sports activities. It was an incredible meet and a great reunion of students with teachers and school.
