iB cricket to take sporting world by storm

iB cricket, a new format of cricket, is the first true sport in Virtual Reality (VR). It is a highly immersive vSport (eSport in Virtual Reality) with a potential to reach 500 million users across the world. iB cricket has got 95% five-star ratings from more than 15000 users across the world including places where cricket is not played during beta testing. Irrespective of age, gender & cricketing background, everyone is enjoying it alike.

This format is developed by ProYuga, an XR technology-focused startup backed by iB Hubs. With a vibrant team of IIT, IIM and IIIT Graduates, ProYuga is set out to make India a world leader in Advanced Technologies. The founder of Proyuga, Vasanth is an alumnus of IIIT, Hyderabad and Trivikram, CEO of the company, is an alumnus of IIT Delhi. This format of the game has gained grounds in India, Singapore, UK, Dubai and Australia.

The format transforms one's surroundings into a virtual world, where one can play cricket in world-class stadiums. This vSport provides a complete cricketing experience with highly accurate physics matching the real-time sport. Every detail like customised commentary, cheering crowd, pitch, bowlers and scoreboards are designed meticulously, giving a very c experience of playing cricket in magnificent stadiums. Modelled at several levels, with a personalised AI coach, and many global tournaments, this vSport enables everyone to build their cricketing career.

This sport is official partner of four IPL franchisees – CSK, RCB, RR and Delhi Capitals. It took nine months for developers to transform the idea into a working format. "Every cricket fan loves to play the game in the stadium under floodlights with the crowd around. So, we thought of presenting them this great opportunity in simulated ambience. We've raised more than $13 million with the help of iB Hubs. iB Hubs has also been supporting us in various other aspects like Marketing, developing business models, refining product with customer feedback and Compliances. They are the ones who got us in touch with the international cricketers for making iB Cricket Super Over League a reality," Trivikram said.

Felt like I was playing with celebrities. Many people are interested in playing cricket in the stadium but only a few people get the opportunity.
