IIT(ISM), GSI Training Institute hold meet to strengthen ties
The GSI Training Institute and IIT(ISM)-Dhanbad entered into MoU for collaborative research programs leading to Ph.D degree. Towards identifying research project areas with an emphasis on ‘Mineral Targeting’ GSITI team led by Ch. Venkateswara Rao, DDG, GSITI & Head, M-V had kick-off with IIT(ISM) team on Friday at IIT(ISM)- Dhanbad.

The GSITI team consisting of Ch. Venkateswara Rao, DDG, GSITI & Head, M-V and Dr. S. Ravi, Director,GSITIbhad discussions with Prof. Rajeev Shekar, Director IIT(ISM)- Dhanbad, Prof. Shalivahan, Dean (R&D), Prof Rima Chatterjee, HOD of Department of Applied Geophysics, Prof. M.K. Mukherjee, Prof. Sahendra Singh, Prof. Anand of Applied Geology Department and other faculty members for firming up the research proposals on Singhbhum and Dharwar cratons for taking up first phase of research programmes.
