South Zone cricket tournament at DPS, Nacharam
DPS Nacharam is conducting the biggest sporting event of the year, the VII MK’s South Zone Inter School Cricket Tournament from Saturday at the sprawling school campus.
Hyderabad: DPS Nacharam is conducting the biggest sporting event of the year, the VII MK's South Zone Inter School Cricket Tournament from Saturday at the sprawling school campus. A whopping 36 schools from the South Zone- Telangana, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh are participating in this prestigious event in the U-12, U-14 and U-16 categories. A total of 72 teams will be participating in the matches.
The Principal Sunitha Rao welcomed all the teams to this much awaited event of the twin cities urging students to excel in sports along with academics to attain a holistic personality. The Chief Guests for this occasion, Anup Kumar Yama, Arjuna awardee in Roller Skating and Vijay Mohan Raj, former cricketer and selector for the Hyderabad Cricket Association were welcomed by the ceremonial Guard of Honour by the school NCC cadets accompanied by Chairman Komaraiah , Director Pallavi and the Principal.
