It's good sign that Telangana government is looking at revamp of some departments. Especially ,the chief minister is keen on welfare of farmers, their cropping and marketing prices,. Here is where all intellectuals should express their views and ideas to revamp the department.
In our state 70 per cent of the people depend on agriculture and unfortunately most of farmers are illiterate and economically backward. Still,farmers depend on old method of cultivation and money lenders It is a pity how pesticides and fertilizer companies fixed their products but who bought pesticides and used on their crops and farms of farmers had no right fix their crops in market.
Farmers need assurance price in the market., then.farmers would never depend on money lenders. The government is seeking welfare of farmers and we have to welcome of revamp of agriculture and horticulture department.
