Hyderabad has received the highest number of biryani orders among all the cities in the country
Hyderabad: Ordering food online has become a habit of people in Hyderabad city. Demand for Swiggy and Zomato is increasing day by day. On the other hand, as the year ends, Swiggy has released a report on the most ordered dishes this year. Several interesting facts have been revealed in this report released in the name of How India Swiggyd-2023.
Hyderabad city residents' love for biryani was once again evident. According to Swiggy's report, Hyderabad has received the highest number of biryani orders among all the cities in the country. Moreover, biryani is also Swiggy's best-selling dish this year! Biryani became the best ordered dish for the eighth year in a row.
The report showed that 2.5 biryanis were sold per second. Orders for 4.30 lakh biryanis have been received in Janueary alone. A total of 2.49 biryani orders were received from January 1 to November 23. However, another feature of the report is that a person from Hyderabad ordered 1,633 biryanis at once this year.
Along with this, the people of Hyderabad ordered idlis worth Rs.6 lakh. Delhi and Chennai are the cities with the highest number of orders followed by Hyderabad.
