Commuters fume over drainage overflowing
The commuters and residents of Hyderanaga are facing severe inconvenience due to drainage overflowing at Hydernagar bus stop.
Hydernagar: The commuters and residents of Hyderanaga are facing severe inconvenience due to drainage overflowing at Hydernagar bus stop. The drain water is flowing through Hydernagar bus stop due to clog of internal drainage system. "This is not the first time this has been a frequent problem from last few months. Almost every month there would drainage overflow," said Ramesh a resident.
Due to the leakage of drainage water at bus stop, it became a difficult task for the commuters to stand at the bus stop. There are several commercial buildings and small businesses on the either sides of the road. Satish, a juice shop owner said," For us summer is good for the business but due to drainage overflowing in front of the shop customers are not coming.
At times the situation is so bad that we close the shop." The sanitation workers from GHMC come only after repeated requests but after a few days the same problem resurfaces.
