Cordon and search operations held in Pahadishareef
On the instructions of Commissioner of Police Rachakonda, Mahesh Bhagwat, the Cordon and Search operations was conducted by Rachakonda police at Wadi e Mustafa area of Pahadishareef police station limits under the supervision of DCP LB Nagar, Sanpreet Singh.

According to officials, 200 policemen took part in cordon search operation which started at 4 pm & concluded by 6 pm. During this operation 13 bikes,1 car & 1 auto were seized, as the owners failed to produce proper documents. Police also raided 1 belt shop and seized 86 liquor bottles. Three building cellars were also raided by police, who seized 3 bags of gutka.
During the search operation, 6 rowdy sheeters were taken into custody and checked their present activities. 7 suspects were also taken into custody who were found to have contacts with criminals. During the raids police also registered cases on belt shop organizer and gutka gowdown owners. Police appealed citizens for installation of CCTV cameras. Later DCP LB Nagar, Sanpreet Singh addressed the media. ACP Vanasthalipuram, C Gandhinarayan and other officials of Rachakonda were present on this occasion.
