The candidates contesting in GHMC elections are trying to lure the voters to cast them to their respective parties by offering them money and liquor in return
Hyderabad : The candidates contesting in GHMC elections are trying to lure the voters to cast them to their respective parties by offering them money and liquor in return. Several incidents have taken place in the suburbs divisions in Ranga Reddy district. Even though the police assured that they have taken measures to eradicate all these actions, several leaders are still distributing liquor and money.
The public found crates of liquor in Chaitanyapuri and handed it over to the police. The police said that they are investigating the case but, not even a single case has been registered regarding the issue.
In Upparpally, activists had been caught red-handed while distributing money to the people. A video of activists in Mailardevpally distributing money to the public has gone viral in social media. The public has got hold of the activists and handed them over to the police but, the police are not taking any action against them.
Even after handing over the activists to police who have attempted to distribute money and liquor to the public, the police are not taking any action against them.
The BJP leaders alleged that the police are not taking any actions against the wrongdoers. The ruling party leaders in suburbs like Serilingampally, Mansurabad, Hayath Nagar have made arrangements to distribute money and liquor to the public.
The BJP leaders demanded the officials to take strict action against the leaders and activists who are trying to lure the public by distributing money and liquor.
