Mayor Bonthu Rammohan & team study Pune civic body functioning
GHMC Mayor Bonthu Rammohan along with his team visited Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) on Wednesday, to study engineering works, parks management and footpath construction.
Hyderabad: GHMC Mayor Bonthu Rammohan along with his team visited Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) on Wednesday, to study engineering works, parks management and footpath construction.
GHMC chief engineers Sridhar, Ziauddin, OSD Suresh were seen with the Mayor. They checked the mobile repairs vehicle which is used for conducting instant repair works on roads.
They went through the Pune Smart City project programmes. He enquired about the management of eco-friendly seating arrangements, solar tower units, open gyms in the parks. He also checked the rainwater harvesting pits constructed in the parks and saw the bollads and seating arrangements on the footpaths.
PMC officials explained about the high capacity mass transit route, bus rapid transit route, cycling plan, smart pedesterian street projects to Bonthu Rammohan and his team.
