Kukatpally: It is the responsibility of the State government to provide basic facilities to the poor in Indranagar, said Minister Srinivas Goud on Sunday.

Participating in the Green Challenge programme in Indranagar and Chittaramma Colony of Balanagar division, he stated that many poor people belonging to Mahbubnagar, Warangal and Nalgonda districts were living in Indranagar.

Goud pledged to provide power supply to the people 'if required by spending from our salaries' Later, the minister took part in the 'Harita Haram' programme in Chittaramma Colony and planted saplings.

He said the TRS government was building 2 BHK houses for 'making the dream of the poor a reality'. Among those present included MLC Naveen rao, MLA Krishna Rao, GHMC Zonal Commissioner Mamata, Corporator Narendra Acharya, women's wing president Jyoti Rao, Padma, officials and TRS leaders.
