Hyderabad: Rajya Sabha Member J Santhosh Kumar introduced 'Green Challenge' programme to bring awareness among the public through eminent people for boosting Haritha Haram drive.
As a part of the game, Arvind Kumar, Principal Secretary of Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MAUD) department in Telangana accepted the challenge from Advisor to the Government, Rajiv Sharma, and My Home group head J Rameswara Rao.
He conducted plantation at Jalagam Vengal Rao Park and PV Ghat at Necklace Road. Later, he threw the 'Green Challenge' to US Counsel General Joel Rafeman, British Deputy High Commissioner Andrew Flemming and Akkineni Amala.
