People flay apathy of civic officials
Residents of Lakshminarayana Colony located in Uppal industrial area are vexed with the continuous drainage overflow in their colony. Speaking to The Hans India, residents expressed their anger over lack of response from the officials concerned even though the people have been facing severe inconvenience for over a month.

Locals questioned the authorities who insist on timely payment of taxes for not responding to the issue for such long period. They urged THI to take the issue to the notice of the officials concerned and save them from the stench emanating from sewerage.
The hapless people said they find it difficult even to walk on the roads which have become slippery as drainage has been overflowing for over a month. Some two-wheelers even slipped and got injured, they lamented. They urged the officials to find a permanent solution to drainage problem and address the issue at the earliest.
