Plea to solve electricity problems
Irked with the electricity problems like frequent power cut, excess electricity bills, rustic iron poles. The residents of ward -5 Secunderabad Cantonment Board(SCB) has sent a plea to Vijay Kumar, assistant engineer of Karkhana, SCB regarding the electricity problem on Tuesday.

For the past 8 months, locals were facing hardship due to voltage fluctuation problem, power cuts last for four to five hours on an average, short circuit near poles and also the residents of SCB ward-5 are not receiving electric bill a number of times, and also receiving excessive electricity bills, says, T Satish Kumar, Vasavinagar Welfare Association president.
Residents demanded that authorities change the iron poles to cement electric poles during monsoon season, locals are facing hardships. As several complaints were given to the concerned officials but no concrete step had been taken till date. "We decided to send a written plea to the Assistant engineer to solve our problem as soon as possible," added Satish.
