Pleas to clear uprooted trees in Tarnaka
Tarnaka: ‘Saaf Hyderabad-Shaandar Hyderabad’ seems to be just confined to words, as the action seems to be missing at least in some areas in the city. After the heavy rains in the city, some trees were uprooted and branches were broken and are still seen on the roads in Tarnaka. Though officers are conducting meetings and campaigns for the programme, there is no change in the situation. Trees that fell on the roads are moved a side and left there. It’s been over a week and the trees are not yet removed. Pedestrians and two wheelers are facing a lot of trouble. The GHMC officials are also not responding to the pleas to clear the trees. Though some travel in the same direction, the response from them is not seen. The residents request the officers to clean the area immediately.
