Rajendranagar: A review meeting was held on 'Global Conference on Innovative Approaches for Enhancing Water Productivity in Agriculture and Horticulture' at Prof Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) here.
Dr V Praveen Rao, the vice-chancellor, chaired the review meeting on the global conference proposed to be conducted from May 28 to 31, 2020. PJTSAU and ASM Foundation, New Delhi, are jointly organising the conference.
The convener of the conference, Dr HP Singh, former DDG of ICAR and founder & chairman of Confederation of Horticultural Associations of India (CHAI), Dr Ravindrachary, Director of CRIDA, Dr YG Prasad, Director of ATARI, Dr R Jagadeeshwar, Director of Research at PJTSAU, Dr J Satyanarayana, Dean of Agriculture, Dr Seema, Associate Dean, Dr Anitha, Director of P&M Cell, and others were present during review meeting. They discussed about the arrangement of technical sessions, inviting key-note speakers, calling for research papers and logistical arrangements.
