Rich tributes paid to former PM
On the occasion of 28th death anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi, Congress candidate for Medak MP seat Gali Anil Kumar along with other Congress activists paid rich tributes to the former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi at his statue in front of bus stand on Tuesday.
Patancheru: On the occasion of 28th death anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi, Congress candidate for Medak MP seat Gali Anil Kumar along with other Congress activists paid rich tributes to the former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi at his statue in front of bus stand on Tuesday. Corporator Shankar Yadav and former corporator Sapan Dev also paid tributes to the former Prime Minister.
Speaking on the occasion, Gali Anil Kumar said lauded the services of the Rajiv Gandhi to the nation. It was because of the efforts of Rajiv Gandhi in the field of science and technology, the nation has been able to witness revolution in IT and communication technologies, he said. "It is only because of Rajiv Gandhi that from rikshaw puller to pilot of airplane are able to use mobile phones today," he added.
Among those who participated in the programme include former sarpanch Sanjeev Reddy, minority president Asif, Congress leaders Srinivas, Narender Reddy, Raju Mudhiraj, Kishan, SC cell leaders Yadagiri and others.
