Sack Education Minister, demands TDP leader

Musheerabad: Former District TDP president P Sai Baba held a meeting of prominent TDP leaders of the district here at the Hyderabad district party office on Sunday. Later, speaking to the media, Sai Baba said that the meeting resolved to conduct constituency-level meetings to strengthen the party in the district.
It was also agreed that coordination committees at constituency and district levels be formed unanimously on the basis of consensus, he added. The meeting also resolved to conduct various protest programs to pressurize the state government on Intermediate results fiasco due to which more than 20 students committed suicides.
Condemning the TRS government's apathy on the Intermediate fiasco, he demanded that the State government book criminal cases under Section 302 against those responsible for the students' deaths and dismiss the Education Minister G Jagadishwar Reddy. He criticized the ministers representing the city like Talasani Srinivas Yadav and Mahmood Ali-for not responding on the issue.
Citing the example of the SC Minister Rajaiah who was sacked immediately after corruption allegations, he alleged that the Education Minister had not been dismissed with the same haste because he belonged to the forward caste.
Among those who attended the meeting include TDP leaders Sripathi Satish, N Kishore, Ram Narayana, Ravinder Chari, Raghunath Rao, M Madhukar, B Shyamsunder, and others.
