Sewage issue raises hackles of people
The residents of Green Wood Country Colony, Old Alwal, are facing severe hardships on account of sewage water causing unpleasantness to the locals traveling from this area.

It also has become a challenge for the locals over here to deal with it every day. R Raju said that due to extensive water logging mosquito menace has increased in the area and also foul smell is emanating from it. He also said that they had given several complaints to authorities but no action has been taken to lay the sewer line despite repeated reminders.
The residents urge construction of an inner manual chamber because of the poor construction of sewage chambers that lead to frequent blocking in the pipeline. The officials should take this issue seriously and clean the sewage water and improve the drainage system in the area for its smooth flow, they urged.
